Employee Advice and Support Services

Employee Advice and Support Services offers confidential help, support and advice to all employees.

Students are also welcome to use our Harassment Advice Service. 


  • Employee Advice and Listening Service
    The Employee Adviser is based within Employee Support Services, providing support and advice on issues which may be affecting people at work and home.   If you are experiencing any difficulties and would like to talk through the situation, please contact extension 58774.
  • Employee Mental Health Assessment and Counselling Support
    A referral service to the NHS is available to employees in need of specialist mental health assessment and support.

  • Disability and Additional Needs Service
    positive about disabled peopleThe Disability and Additional Needs Adviser is available to support and advise members of staff on issues relating to disability or additional needs within the workplace. 

  • Citizens Advice Bureau
    Visit our on-campus CAB Adviser for help with the following areas: Consumer; Immigration; Debt; Housing; Legal; Benefits; Employment; Relationships.

  • Harassment Advisers
    The Harassment Advice Service provides support and information to staff and students.  The Harassment Advice Service has been operating for around 10 years and advice is provided by volunteer members of staff, trained and experienced in supporting clients through difficult times.
