If you are a new member of staff, this will be sorted out locally once you have signed on and received your ID card.
For non-staff members, there will be someone authorised locally to set up new 'associates'. They should go to www.itservicedesk.bham.ac.uk and select "Make a Request" and then "Add or Extend Associate".
